Marc Guehi did not take the knee as part of the Premier League’s ‘No Room For Racism’ campaign over the weekend…

Manchester City defender Marc Guehi stated that "more can be done" to combat racism after opting not to take the knee ahead of Saturday's match against Ipswich. Speaking at a press conference on Monday, Guehi suggested that the pre-match gesture may have lost its impact, noting that he instead claps to show respect for the message.
While praising the Premier League's ongoing "No Room For Racism" campaign, Guehi expressed a desire to see further action taken alongside the PFA and the league. Leeds United striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin also chose not to take the knee during his side's weekend match against Manchester United.
