‘Need to find’ – what Enzo Maresca wants from Rayan Cherki at Man City

Manchester City manager Enzo Maresca has addressed Rayan Cherki's flair and showboating following the attacker's impressive performance against AEK Athens. While Maresca emphasized that he appreciates simple football and defensive discipline, he noted that he will not remove natural expression from Cherki's game because the attacker's happiness on the pitch translates to goals and assists.

Maresca explained that the priority is finding the right tactical balance and ensuring Cherki occupies the correct positions. The manager praised Cherki as one of Europe's best players between the lines and in the penalty box, warning that roaming out of position can sometimes undermine the team's structure.
