Paul Scholes has hit back at pundit Martin Keown after the former Arsenal defender suggested Manchester City's Premier League titles should be voided if the club's financial breaches are upheld

Paul Scholes hit back at pundit Martin Keown after the former Arsenal defender suggested Manchester City's Premier League titles between 2009 and 2018 should be voided rather than reallocated. Following a verdict finding City guilty of 114 financial breaches, Scholes initially posted that he would want any stripped medals awarded to runners-up. After Keown argued the honors should be voided and Simon Jordan criticized his comments, Scholes responded on Instagram telling Keown to "do one with that 'void season' nonsense."
Manchester City have appealed the guilty verdict and continue to deny any wrongdoing, claiming to possess evidence supporting their case. Other former Manchester United players, including David de Gea and Rio Ferdinand, also publicly questioned whether they might receive additional medals if City are ultimately stripped of their titles.
