Man City have been found guilty of all breaches of the Premier League’s financial rules, with the club benefitting from more than £900m of disguised funding between 2009 and 2018

Former Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal has claimed that Manchester City's financial breaches cost him his job at Old Trafford. Van Gaal was dismissed in May 2016 after Manchester City edged out United for a Champions League qualification spot on goal difference, despite Van Gaal winning the FA Cup against Crystal Palace shortly before his sacking.
His comments follow an independent commission ruling that Manchester City breached Premier League financial rules between 2009 and 2018. Manchester City appealed the verdict on October 1, while former Stoke City manager Tony Pulis also expressed feeling cheated regarding the 2011 FA Cup final.
