Antoine Semenyo has been ruled out for eight weeks due to a knee injury sustained against Ipswich, limiting Manchester City manager Enzo Maresca's attacking options. With Erling Haaland also a doubt because of a foot injury, City face forward depth issues ahead of Tuesday's Champions League match against AEK Athens.
Maresca stated that Phil Foden and Iliman Ndiaye could be used in central attack as alternatives. Manchester City are managing a congested schedule of seven games in 21 days during October, which has contributed to physical issues for Mateo Kovacic, Matheus Nunes, and Nico O’Reilly.
