The former Manchester City defender collapsed during Bayern Munich training and was rushed to the hospital…

Bayern Munich manager Vincent Kompany is stable in the hospital after collapsing on the pitch while watching the club's reserve team train. Sporting director Max Eberl confirmed that the former Manchester City defender is on the mend but will remain hospitalized for several days while doctors conduct medical checks. Eberl emphasized that Kompany's recovery will take weeks rather than days, with no strict timeframe placed on his return.
Kompany had previously been unwell with a virus, which caused him to miss a press conference ahead of Bayern's Champions League match against Arsenal. Assistant coach Aaron Danks confirmed he visited Kompany in the hospital and stated that the existing coaching staff will oversee all football operations during the manager's absence.
