Manchester City manager Enzo Maresca spoke for the first time since the news had emerged over the guilty verdicts in the 115 case

Manchester City manager Enzo Maresca addressed the media for the first time since the club received guilty verdicts regarding their 115 financial charges. Maresca strongly defended the club, stating he trusts the leadership and looks forward to discussing the matter further after City wins on appeal. He also insisted he would have taken the managerial role even if the verdict had already been announced when he joined.
The independent panel's guilty findings were confirmed in a 40-page document, but Manchester City has lodged an appeal that will be heard in the coming months. Maresca dismissed assertions that the 2022-23 Treble campaign, during which he served as Pep Guardiola's assistant, was tainted, reiterating his full confidence in the organisation.
