Manchester United striker Benjamin Sesko is expected to be sidelined until at least January due to a shin impact injury. The 23-year-old Slovenia international has not played since being substituted against Brighton in the Carabao Cup on September 16, leaving manager Michael Carrick without his only orthodox number nine.
Sesko's absence comes during a difficult stretch for United, who sit 16th in the Premier League and are winless across all competitions since September 10. The forward is set to miss key fixtures against Liverpool and Arsenal, as well as at least three Champions League matches.
