Ella Toone's goal in Man United Women's 3-1 win over Charlton Athletic Women makes her joint top WSL scorer in club history alongside Leah Galton.
Ella Toone drew level with Leah Galton as Manchester United Women's joint all-time top scorer in the Women's Super League after netting her 35th league goal on Sunday. Her strike helped United secure a fifth consecutive win against Charlton Athletic Women, with Andrea Medina and Julia Zigiotti also scoring to lift the Red Devils to fifth in the WSL table.
Toone now needs just one more league goal to claim the club's WSL scoring record outright. She already holds Manchester United Women's records for all-time total goals with 66 and overall appearances with 219, while remaining the only active squad member from the club's inaugural 2018 campaign.
