Every word of Michael Carrick’s passionate speech before he was even asked a question at Man United press conference

Manchester United head coach Michael Carrick delivered a five-minute and 36-second opening speech before taking any questions at his press conference. Addressing the club's recent poor form following a midweek defeat to Como, Carrick acknowledged the team's performances have been unacceptable and emphasized his personal responsibility to field a team that properly represents the supporters.

Carrick highlighted core club values of humility, hard work, and resilience, referencing past figures including Sir Alex Ferguson, Wayne Rooney, and Ryan Giggs. He warned against feelings of entitlement within the squad, stated that United is bigger than any single individual, and expressed full confidence that the team will recover its identity.
