Rasmus Hojlund had an eventful night for Denmark as he was involved in an altercation with Portugal boss Jorge Jesus

Rasmus Hojlund was involved in a post-match altercation with Portugal manager Jorge Jesus following Denmark's 4-2 Nations League defeat in Copenhagen. The Denmark striker scored his team's second goal and performed Cristiano Ronaldo's iconic 'SIU' celebration during the match. After the final whistle, Jesus appeared to pat Hojlund on the chest, prompting the forward to push the Portugal manager in response.
The incident came amid friction between Jesus and Ronaldo, who left the national team camp early after being benched against Norway. Hojlund previously performed the celebration in 2025 as a tribute to his idol, and writer Stephen Killen suggests the gesture may have been intended as a message of solidarity to Ronaldo following his dispute with Jesus.
