Manchester United skipper Bruno Fernandes has provided an insight into his time under former manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at Old Trafford.

Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes has praised former manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer for signing him and giving him the opportunity to represent the club. Speaking on international duty with Portugal ahead of their UEFA Nations League clash against Norway, Fernandes described Solskjaer as a very important manager who brought him to Old Trafford from Sporting in January 2020.
Fernandes recorded 44 goals and 33 assists in 97 appearances under the Norwegian manager's tenure. Portugal subsequently defeated Norway 2-1 on Sunday, with Fernandes noting before the match that while he remains in regular contact with Solskjaer, they had not discussed the fixture beforehand.
