Senne Lammens returned to Manchester United training four days early after recovering from his costly World Cup error for Belgium against Spain.

Manchester United goalkeeper Senne Lammens rebuilt his confidence following a costly mistake in Belgium's 2-1 World Cup quarter-final loss to Spain on July 10. The 24-year-old spilled a shot from Pau Cubarsi, allowing Mikel Merino to score the decisive goal. Following the tournament exit, Lammens reviewed the play with goalkeeping coach Guy Martens and received public backing from fellow Belgian international Thibaut Courtois.
After holidaying with family and girlfriend Vanessa in the United States and Switzerland, Lammens returned to Carrington four days early on July 30. The goalkeeper received warm support from Manchester United teammates, including Harry Maguire. Despite recent criticism from Paul Scholes following a goal conceded against Fulham, Lammens has registered several strong saves early in the season.
