I understand why JJ Gabriel wants to leave – but Man United are in impossible position

Former England striker Emile Heskey stated he understands why Manchester United teenager JJ Gabriel wants to depart Old Trafford, despite the club being placed in a difficult position. Gabriel requested to leave the club to pursue first-team football elsewhere and is currently training individually in Barcelona amid reported transfer interest from Barcelona, Real Madrid, and Bayern Munich.

Heskey explained that playing Premier League football at age 15 is an almost impossible task because young prospects must surpass senior professionals. Citing Martin Odegaard's development pathway as an example, Heskey advised that Gabriel must prioritize securing playing time rather than waiting around during crucial developmental years.
