Erik ten Hag has warned his former club Manchester United that they could get relegated this season as their dismal season shows no sign of improving currently.

Former Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has warned that his former club could realistically face relegation from the Premier League this season. Speaking to ESPN NL, Ten Hag noted that the overall strength of squads and managers across the league makes it easy for struggling teams to fall into a difficult vicious circle.
Manchester United currently sit in 17th place with seven points from nine games following a 2-0 defeat to Chelsea. Pressure continues to mount on head coach Michael Carrick, while Ten Hag also criticized former forward Cristiano Ronaldo, claiming his top-level career effectively ended after his stint at Juventus.
