The Story in 60 Seconds

Former Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho has received a contract offer from La Liga club Getafe, according to reports from The Times. The 23-cap England international is currently a free agent after his contract with Manchester United expired last summer. Getafe manager Jose Bordalas reportedly holds Sancho in high esteem and hopes the winger can fill a void on the right flank, leaving Sancho to consider the proposal.

Sancho's five-year spell with Manchester United included loan stints at Borussia Dortmund, Chelsea, and Aston Villa. Chelsea opted to pay a £5m penalty fee to avoid a permanent purchase, while Villa chose not to sign him permanently following a loan spell last season. Getafe currently sit 14th in La Liga with eight points from their opening eight games.
