Manchester United host Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford in their first match after the international break, during which multiple Spurs players have sustained injuries

Tottenham Hotspur defender Micky van de Ven suffered an arm injury during the Netherlands' Nations League match against Serbia on Sunday ahead of Spurs' clash with Manchester United. Serbia forward Luka Jovic landed on Van de Ven's left arm, forcing the defender off the pitch in the closing minutes of the 2-1 Dutch victory in Eindhoven.
Dutch manager Xavi downplayed the severity after the match, clarifying that Van de Ven suffered a finger injury that caused dizziness. Van de Ven is the second Tottenham defender injured in recent fixtures against Serbia, after Jan Paul van Hecke also withdrew following a similar foot incident.
