Manchester United face Atletico Madrid in the Champions League, aiming to improve their poor record against Spanish clubs after drawing with Tottenham Hotspur.
Manchester United face Atletico Madrid in the Champions League, with writer Alex Browne outlining three major challenges the English club must overcome to secure a victory. United head to Spain following a 1-1 Premier League draw against Tottenham Hotspur, although they previously opened their European campaign with a 4-0 win against Sabah.
Browne highlights that United have never defeated Atletico Madrid in four competitive meetings and hold a historically poor record against Spanish clubs. Furthermore, United have not won domestically since August, while Atletico Madrid enter the match on a four-game winning streak.
