It was confirmed late last month that Manchester City have been found guilty on all counts of breaching the Premier League’s financial rules

Manchester United were reportedly one of four Premier League clubs informed of Manchester City's guilty verdict ahead of rivals. According to The Telegraph, United, Arsenal, Liverpool, and Tottenham Hotspur received advanced notice because they previously instructed lawyers and gave formal legal notice to reserve their right to seek compensation. Club executives had to sign non-disclosure agreements before viewing the judgment.
Manchester City were found guilty on all counts of breaching the Premier League's financial rules. The Etihad club has appealed the decision and denies any wrongdoing, with chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak reaffirming the club's confidence in proving its innocence.
