Man United sign Liverpool youngster as clubs in talks over transfer fee after Man City deal

Manchester United have completed the signing of 16-year-old winger Isaac Konde from Liverpool. Konde signed a one-year scholarship agreement that will transition into a five-year professional contract when he turns 17. The clubs are currently in negotiations over a compensation fee, with Liverpool anticipating a seven-figure sum that could otherwise be determined by a Premier League tribunal.

Konde, who had been with Liverpool since 2018, will join Darren Fletcher's Under-18 squad at Old Trafford. His arrival follows Manchester United's confirmed signing of 17-year-old midfielder Karim Cassim from rivals Manchester City.
