Replacement shuttle buses costing £2-a-ride are being laid on…

Manchester United supporters have been warned to plan ahead for Sunday's match due to major Metrolink tram line closures. Tram services on the Altrincham, Trafford Park, and Eccles lines are completely shut down for engineering works until November 1, while services on the Airport and East Didsbury lines are reduced with no direct links through the city centre.
Fans are urged to depart at least an hour earlier than usual ahead of the 2pm kick-off at Old Trafford. Transport bosses have arranged alternative travel options, including dedicated £2 football shuttle buses departing from both Altrincham Interchange and Piccadilly Gardens.
