Michael Carrick was pushed to the brink as Man Utd were hammered 3-0 by Bournemouth in the Premier League.
Manchester United executives Jason Wilcox and Omar Berrada reported to the Carrington training complex on Monday amid uncertainty over head coach Michael Carrick's future. The visit follows a 3-0 home defeat against Bournemouth, which extended United's winless run to eight matches across all competitions.
Carrick stated that he remains uncertain about his job security following Sunday's loss, though he explained his wave to supporters was not intended as a farewell. With players on a scheduled day off and no midweek fixture, club leadership has time before Saturday's Premier League match against Chelsea.
