Michael Carrick to turn to Man Utd bright spark in hour of need…
Shea Lacey is reportedly set to make his full Premier League debut for Manchester United against Aston Villa on Sunday. According to talkSPORT, manager Michael Carrick plans to reward the 19-year-old winger following his decisive cameo in United's Champions League victory over Roma on Tuesday night. After coming on as a substitute for Amad Diallo, Lacey provided the assist for Matheus Cunha's winning goal to end a nine-game winless streak.
Carrick praised the young winger following the European match, noting his ability, determination, and positive attitude. Although all five of Lacey's previous Premier League appearances have come as a substitute, he previously scored on his first senior start against Brighton in the Carabao Cup in September. Lacey is now tipped to start on the right side of the attack against Aston Villa.
