PL club threaten to derail United’s pursuit of red-hot full-back with two goals this season

Manchester United are reportedly monitoring Crystal Palace left-back Tyrick Mitchell as they plan to strengthen the position in 2027. Mitchell has scored two goals in six appearances across all competitions this season, attracting interest from Old Trafford. The 27-year-old Englishman has entered the final 12 months of his contract at Selhurst Park.

Crystal Palace are determined to retain Mitchell despite Manchester United keeping tabs on the defender, according to Football Insider. United previously identified Newcastle United's Lewis Hall and Barcelona's Alejandro Balde as targets after spending their summer transfer resources on midfielders Andrey Santos, Youri Tielemans, and Carlos Baleba.
