Manchester United are considering a January move for Manchester City left-back Rayan Ait-Nouri as they look to strengthen their defence.

Manchester United are reportedly preparing to pursue a January move for Manchester City left-back Rayan Ait-Nouri. According to a report from Africa Foot, the Red Devils are exploring the possibility of signing the Algerian international on loan during the winter transfer window to address their defensive issues. The player is reportedly seeking more regular playing time after limited minutes under Enzo Maresca.
United previously attempted to sign Ait-Nouri in the summer, but Manchester City were unwilling to sanction a deal. Left-back Luke Shaw has missed multiple games this season, leaving Michael Carrick's side short on options. However, The Peoples Person assesses that reports of a winter switch may be far-fetched due to City's expected reluctance to reinforce a local rival mid-season.
