The stance of Man United co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe has emerged following his appearance in a controversial political video promotion.

Manchester United co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe was featured in a promotional video posted by Reform UK leader Nigel Farage on Saturday. The political video highlighted previous comments made by Ratcliffe stating that the United Kingdom was being colonized by immigrants, which previously drew backlash from supporters and prompted a vote of no confidence from the Manchester United Muslim Supporters Club.
INEOS confirmed to The Athletic that the 73-year-old billionaire had no prior knowledge of the video and did not grant permission for his words to be included. Reform stated the clip was sourced from a publicly broadcast Sky News interview and confirmed that neither INEOS nor Ratcliffe requested its removal, leaving no plans to alter the video.
