Keith Dungait has shown extreme determination to walk again after a serious spinal cord injury he suffered in 2018 left him paralysed…

Newcastle United legend Alan Shearer made a surprise visit to Keith Dungait at his Northumberland home to thank him for his fundraising efforts. Dungait, who was told he would never walk again after suffering a paralyzing spinal cord injury in 2018, completed the "Move a Mile" challenge by walking 2,775 steps with a frame.
During the visit, Dungait presented Shearer with a check for £2,775 for the Alan Shearer Foundation. The donation supports a £1 million campaign to construct a second hydrotherapy pool at the Alan Shearer Centre in Newcastle.
