Alan Shearer turns air blue in Newcastle rant as he identifies player who can solve Jaissle issues

Alan Shearer reacted with an expletive toward co-host Micah Richards during a passionate rant about Newcastle United on the Rest Is Football podcast. The former striker criticized the club following consecutive defeats, including a 4-1 loss to Coventry City and a 1-0 home loss against Aston Villa. Shearer stated Newcastle produced a terrible, tepid performance at St James' Park, managing only one shot on target from Sven Botman.

Shearer voiced concern over defensive holes in Matthias Jaissle's side and questioned the decision not to introduce youngster Sean Steur to provide creativity. He maintained his prediction that Newcastle will finish 13th or 14th this season. The Magpies next prepare to face Crystal Palace, who recently suffered a 5-0 defeat against Brighton and Hove Albion.
