Wolves head coach Cesar Peixoto has confirmed that Newcastle United loanee Sean Neave will make his first senior start against Burnley on Friday night. The 19-year-old striker is set to lead the line at Turf Moor after previously logging just 18 minutes across four substitute appearances in the Championship this season.
Neave receives his starting opportunity due to injuries to Wolves' senior forwards, with Raul Jimenez requiring knee surgery and Adam Armstrong sidelined with a back issue. Peixoto expressed confidence in the young forward, noting that teammates including captain Kieran Trippier will support Neave during the match.
