January is creeping closer, and Newcastle's transfer business is already giving supporters plenty to chew over.

Newcastle United have opened preliminary talks regarding an enquiry to sign 18-year-old Leicester City midfielder Louis Page, according to TEAMtalk's Graeme Bailey. Dubbed 'the next Jude Bellingham', Page is also being tracked by European heavyweights Real Madrid and Barcelona, while Manchester United, Brighton, and Brentford have similarly registered an interest in the youngster.
Leicester are reportedly prepared to consider a permanent January transfer for Page if suitors match their total package valuation of approximately £15 million. Any prospective deal would also require a loan agreement that allows the midfielder to remain at the King Power Stadium through the rest of the campaign.
