Newcastle United forward Casi Gregson has signed her first professional contract with the club. The 18-year-old's milestone caps a breakthrough week that included her senior first-team debut against Aston Villa in the Subway Players' Cup and her first senior international call-up for Wales.
Gregson originally joined Newcastle from Gwalia United in February, advancing through the Under-21 setup. Manager Tanya Oxtoby praised Gregson's development and pre-season efforts, which earned her senior debut as a substitute replacing Jessie Gale in the 64th minute.
