Woltemade left Newcastle to join Juventus on a season-long loan deal earlier this year…

Former Germany defender Christian Ziege suggested Nick Woltemade could still return to Newcastle United and succeed, following the forward's omission from the national squad by Jurgen Klopp. Speaking to Boyle Sports, Ziege argued that Woltemade may have left Stuttgart for St James' Park too early in his career.
Woltemade signed with Newcastle for £69 million before eventually leaving on loan to Juventus after struggling under managers Eddie Howe and Matthias Jaissle. Ziege noted that while Serie A presents tough challenges, working with Jaissle upon returning from his loan spell could revive the 24-year-old's Newcastle career.
