Huntingdon knifeman asked Nottingham Forest fan ‘do you want to die’ during confrontation

Nottingham Forest supporter Stephen Crean was asked 'Do you want to die?' by Anthony Williams during a mass stabbing on a train, Cambridge Crown Court heard. Crean attempted to wrestle the weapon away from Williams on an LNER Doncaster to London King's Cross service on November 1. Williams stabbed 10 people during the five-minute train attack and faces 14 counts of attempted murder.

Prosecutor Christopher Paxton KC detailed that Williams wounded Crean in the hand, head, and lower back during the confrontation. Williams denies 14 counts of attempted murder relating to the train incident and four prior stabbings in Peterborough and London over the Halloween weekend. Crean, who suffered permanent damage to his left hand, vowed to keep attending Forest matches.
