Nottingham Forest signing Gustavo Sá stated he has no doubts about rejecting a lucrative offer from Saudi Arabian club Al-Ittihad to pursue his career in Europe. The 21-year-old midfielder signed a permanent deal with Nottingham Forest from Famalicão for an undisclosed fee and was immediately loaned out to Greek side Olympiacos.
Sá revealed that Al-Ittihad offered more than €17m over three years, but he prioritized sporting ambition over financial gain. Currently gaining European competition experience with Olympiacos, Sá noted he is focused on increasing his match intensity to properly prepare for the Premier League.
