It has been a mixed start to Oliver Glasner's tenure as Nottingham Forest head coach

Nottingham Forest have experienced a mixed start to the season under head coach Oliver Glasner. The Reds opened their campaign with a 1-0 home defeat to Leeds United and signed off before the international break with another 1-0 home loss to Coventry City, leaving them without a home league win since April. Between those fixtures, Forest defeated Aston Villa 2-1 away, performed solidly at Liverpool, and drew with Tottenham Hotspur.
Glasner has urged patience, noting that the psychological weight of recent relegation battles continues to affect the squad. Despite the struggles at the City Ground, Forest possess individual attacking talent including Morgan Gibbs-White, James McAtee, Liam Delap, and Igor Jesus, while statistically conceding the lowest expected goals in the Premier League at 5.25.
