Nottingham Forest midfielder Xaver Schlager captained Austria to a 3-1 victory against Kosovo in the Nations League on Sunday. The summer arrival delivered a strong performance while wearing the armband, completing 94 percent of his passes and winning five ground duels during the match.

Schlager joined Forest on a free transfer from RB Leipzig and has formed a regular midfield partnership under manager Oliver Glasner. Elsewhere during the international break, Forest defender Neco Williams featured in Wales' 2-0 defeat to Denmark, while Tyler Bindon scored for New Zealand.
