Nottingham Forest ace Morgan Gibbs-White was a late call-up to Thomas Tuchel's England squad

Nottingham Forest head coach Oliver Glasner reached out to Morgan Gibbs-White after the midfielder cut short a family holiday in Dubai to accept a late England call-up. Gibbs-White, who replaced the injured Cole Palmer in Thomas Tuchel's squad, played 16 minutes across Nations League matches against Spain and the Czech Republic. Glasner expressed his delight for Gibbs-White, stating the minutes were well deserved.
Glasner noted that representing the national team will boost Gibbs-White's confidence ahead of the Premier League's resumption. The Forest manager also highlighted positive international performances from other squad members, including Dan Ndoye's two assists for Switzerland, Xaver Schlager captaining Austria, and a win for Ousmane Diomande and Ibrahim Sangare with Ivory Coast.
