‘His stock has risen so much’ – Phil Bardsley expecting ‘interest’ in key Sunderland figure

Former Sunderland defender Phil Bardsley stated that Sunderland head coach Regis Le Bris is likely to attract outside interest following his successful tenure with the Black Cats. Le Bris guided Sunderland to Premier League promotion and followed it up with a seventh-place finish and Europa League qualification in his debut top-flight campaign.

Speaking to Lyllo Casino, Bardsley praised the Frenchman's tactical awareness, composure, and ability to improve versatile players such as Trai Hume. While acknowledging Sunderland as a massive club currently competing in Europe, Bardsley noted that other clubs will inevitably target Le Bris due to his strong performance.
