Sunderland striker Brian Brobbey may be starring in the Premier League at present, but not everybody is convinced. The striker has very much turned his career around since joining the Black Cats from Ajax last summer. 10 goals and one…

Kenneth Perez has criticized Sunderland striker Brian Brobbey's playing style, stating that the Netherlands national team should move away from physical forwards in favor of players with more finesse, such as Max Meerdink. Brobbey recently scored a hat-trick against Manchester City for Sunderland, but a hamstring injury subsequently ruled him out of international duty under manager Xavi.
Perez stated that he prefers Meerdink over Brobbey and Joshua Zirkzee, expressing fatigue with rough physical play and endless duels. However, writer Sean Lunt notes that if Brobbey maintains his strong scoring form in the Premier League, the Netherlands may still depend on him despite stylistic critiques.
