Andy Robertson has been a part of the Tottenham side to endure a tough start to the 2026/27 season.
Tottenham Hotspur defender Andy Robertson has suggested the squad is still carrying the mental weight of last season's struggles. Spurs sit bottom of the Premier League table after failing to win any of their first five matches, recording two draws and three defeats. The club also exited the Carabao Cup following a defeat to Liverpool at Anfield.
Robertson joined Tottenham on a free transfer from Liverpool as one of ten summer signings overseen by manager Roberto De Zerbi. Speaking on the Stick to Football podcast, the 32-year-old left-back noted that past relegation scares continue to linger despite the club spending over £300 million to rebuild the squad.
