Barcelona and Real Madrid eye Pedro Porro as Tottenham defender considers Spain return

Barcelona and Real Madrid are reportedly monitoring Tottenham Hotspur full-back Pedro Porro ahead of a potential permanent move during the winter transfer window. According to Spanish journalist Nil Sola, the defender wants to return to Spain, prompting interest from both La Liga giants. Despite Porro recently signing a contract extension with Tottenham through 2031, Spanish clubs have sounded him out regarding a transfer.

Securing Porro would prove challenging due to his long-term contract and lack of a release clause. Barcelona's pursuit could hinge on selling Jules Kounde to Chelsea to raise necessary funds. Tottenham would face depth issues if Porro departs, though the club has been linked with potential replacements including Neco Williams and Jon Aramburu.
