Despite poor results and an early exit from the League Cup, former Tottenham player Chris Hughton has expressed strong backing for manager Roberto De Zerbi.

Speaking via Chris Cowlin, Hughton stressed that the season is only five games old and insisted that De Zerbi will turn performances around. Although the team is struggling with results, Hughton stated he remains fully confident Tottenham will develop into a winning side under the Italian manager.
