Club legend Chris Waddle feels Tottenham must not look to bring back Real Betis striker Troy Parrott.

Former Tottenham Hotspur winger Chris Waddle has stated that the club should avoid re-signing striker Troy Parrott following recent transfer speculation. Waddle argued via talkSPORT Bet that it makes little sense for Tottenham to pay a substantial transfer fee to bring Parrott back after selling him cheaply earlier in his career.
Parrott joined Real Betis from AZ Alkmaar in a permanent £17.1 million deal and holds a reported €100 million release clause on a contract running until 2031. With Dominic Solanke facing fitness issues and Richarlison out of manager Roberto De Zerbi's plans, writer Rohan Sengupta notes Spurs need a striker but are unlikely to pay a massive fee for Parrott.
