Spurs boss has a big decision to make

GiveMeSport's Lee Wilmot argues that Tottenham Hotspur manager Roberto De Zerbi may need to drop Rodrigo Bentancur to spark a turnaround this season. Tottenham currently sit at the bottom of the Premier League table with only two points from their first five matches. Wilmot suggests that sacrificing Bentancur would allow big-money summer signings Sandro Tonali and Mateus Fernandes to establish a long-term partnership in central midfield.
Fernandes has frequently played out of position as an attacking midfielder due to injuries to James Maddison and Dejan Kulusevski. However, with Kulusevski returning to training and options such as Mohammed Kudus and Omar Marmoush available, Wilmot contends De Zerbi can now deploy Fernandes in his natural deeper role alongside Tonali.
