Stefano Okaka says he has no ill feelings towards Anderlecht for blocking his move to Tottenham Hotspur,in what would have been a career changing moment. The Italian has been a without a club since Serie C side Ravenna released him…

Free-agent striker Stefano Okaka revealed that Anderlecht blocked his dream permanent transfer to Tottenham Hotspur in January 2016. Okaka had caught the attention of Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino after scoring the winning goal against Tottenham in a 2-1 Europa League match in October 2015.
Rather than sanctioning the move to north London, Anderlecht attempted to push the Italian forward toward a reported €20m transfer to Chinese club Jiangsu Suning. After refusing that switch, Okaka was dropped from the Anderlecht squad before eventually completing a transfer to Watford.
