Oasis will stage 11 concerts at Manchester City's stadium next summer. It is part of a trend as clubs maximise what their stadiums bring in

Premier League clubs are increasingly transforming their venues into major concert destinations to maximize summer revenues during the football off-season. Manchester City are set to host band Oasis for an 11-night residency at the Etihad Stadium, drawing over 500,000 attendees and generating unprecedented summer income for the club.
Nearly half of the Premier League's 20 clubs have hosted at least one concert over the past three years. Clubs including Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool, and Arsenal have regularly welcomed global acts like Beyonce, Bruce Springsteen, and Coldplay to help offset high stadium maintenance and operational costs.
