Tottenham Hotspur favourite Teddy Sheringham isn’t impressed with Arsenal‘s Viktor Gyökeres and hasn’t held back when sharing his views on the striker. The Sweden international joined the Gunners from Sporting last summer. He and his agent, Hasan Cetinkaya, pushed hard…

Former Tottenham Hotspur forward Teddy Sheringham has strongly criticized Arsenal striker Viktor Gyökeres, claiming the 28-year-old "plays like a child." Speaking to Hajper, Sheringham argued that the Swedish international frequently gives the ball away and still has not grasped how to properly hold up possession as an attacking player.
Gyökeres joined Arsenal from Sporting CP in July 2025 for an initial €63.5m fee plus bonuses, scoring 21 goals in his debut season. However, he has struggled for regular playing time under Mikel Arteta this campaign, registering zero goals across 207 minutes before scoring four goals for Sweden during the recent international break.
