Tottenham Hotspur will not entertain any permanent transfer bids for captain Micky van de Ven despite reported interest from Liverpool. Journalist Pete O'Rourke reported that Tottenham remain completely relaxed regarding speculation linking the Dutch defender with a move to Anfield, having secured him on a long-term contract running until 2031.
Liverpool reportedly view the 25-year-old centre-back as a potential replacement for Virgil van Dijk, while Manchester United have also tracked him. However, Tottenham appointed Van de Ven club captain under manager Roberto De Zerbi, and former goalkeeper Michel Vorm affirmed that the defender remains fully committed to Spurs.
