Kyle Walker has revealed how close Harry Kane came to swapping Tottenham Hotspur for Manchester City in the summer of 2021. Back in the summer…

Kyle Walker revealed that Harry Kane explicitly told him "I want to come" during Kane's failed transfer attempt to Manchester City in 2021. Speaking to talkSPORT, Walker explained that Kane sought the permanent transfer from Tottenham Hotspur to win club trophies, but the two clubs were ultimately unable to agree on a valuation and fee.
Kane eventually left Tottenham two years later in an £86m permanent transfer to Bayern Munich. Walker also praised Kane's dedication, recalling that the striker was not initially a world-beater or the most physically gifted player when first breaking into the Spurs first team.
