‘I’m told’ – Fabrizio Romano confirms whether Tottenham will sack Roberto De Zerbi

Tottenham Hotspur will reportedly back manager Roberto De Zerbi despite a difficult start to the 2026-27 Premier League campaign. Following a 3-2 home defeat to Aston Villa, Tottenham entered the international break in the relegation zone. Despite the poor run of form, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that the club has no immediate plans to sack the Italian manager.

Romano stated that the Tottenham board remains confident in De Zerbi and understands that rebuilding the team will take time. Although the club invested heavily in the summer transfer window, they missed out on some top targets, including Cody Gakpo. The club hierarchy reportedly remains committed to De Zerbi's long-term project.
